Jared — founder of 100 Bricks and full-time property investor, built through experience, not theory.
I didn’t come from a business background or money. I started out hands-on — painting, decorating, and general maintenance — which gave me a solid understanding of property from the ground up.
I’ve tried a few ventures over the years. Some worked, some didn’t, but all of them taught me something. From rent-to-rent and lettings to running a man and van business, it all built the foundation.
In 2023, I co-founded a remote recruitment agency for solicitors. That’s where I learned how to properly structure and systemise a business — using tech, workflows, and remote teams. That’s now how I run 100 Bricks.

What I’m Building
Right now, I’m focused on building 100 Bricks into a business that runs properly — systems, structure, and no chaos.
We focus on:
Buying distressed or problem properties
Full refurbishments
Creating long-term, quality homes
Working with local authorities
Building systems that allow us to operate remotely
I’m big on systems, but I still like being on the ground in Liverpool. It’s a city I understand and enjoy working in.
I bought my first investment property in Peterborough in 2019. I didn’t overthink it — just got stuck in, learned as I went, and made plenty of mistakes early on.
In 2022, I went full-time into property and shifted my focus to Liverpool. That’s where things really started to move.
Since then, I’ve been involved in a lot of refurbishments — some smooth, some not — but all of them taught me something. I’ve spent money on training, made mistakes, and figured out what actually works.
Getting a mentor made a big difference. He’s been in the game over 30 years and bought 200+ properties. That gave me a clearer way of thinking and a structure to build something properly.
